Insurance
At OrthoLA, we understand the difficulties of the insurance navigation process; for this reason, our staff will help guide you through the process.
OrthoLA has direct contacts with many insurance carriers, and our Business Office will bill your primary and secondary insurance for you. As with any insurance, you will be responsible for deductible and co-insurance, and/or co-pay amounts at the time of your appointment. Should you have any questions regarding billing and insurance, or if you do not have insurance, please contact our billing department at 985.589.0050.

Financial Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the patient to pay for medical treatment. Insurance is filed as a courtesy to patients. Payment for patient deductibles, coinsurance and copayment are due at time of service. We accept cash, checks, debit cards, MasterCard, Visa and American Express for your convenience.
This office participates in most health insurance plans. Please ask for information regarding your coverage. As a convenience to our patients, we will file insurance claims to participating plans. Providing insurance information prior to your visit can help minimize insurance delays and denials.
Any questions about surgical charges should be directed to the billing department. Follow your monthly statements (Explanation of Benefits) to keep track of payments by your insurance company. Our billing department can be reached at 985.589.0050.
