Beth F. Naquin is an Orthopaedic Family Nurse Practitioner who is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing (LSBN).
Beth F. Naquin, BSN, MN, FNP-C was born here in Southeast Louisiana. She graduated from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her nursing career began in 2005 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. Her clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse entailed caring for individuals across all ages of the lifespan in the settings of intensive care and medical-surgical arenas. After attaining over 8 years of nursing experience, she decided to further her medical expertise and completed a graduate nursing program. She completed her Masters of Nursing program at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014. Her advanced practice specialty training included multidisciplinary modalities with rigorous training in advanced assessments and diagnostics.
She began working as an Orthopaedic Family Nurse Practitioner at OrthoLA in April of 2014. As an orthopaedic nurse practitioner, Beth focuses on delivering high-quality patient care that is congruent within the defined orthopaedic standards of practice. She assists in the formulation of orthopaedic diagnoses, radiological and special examination interpretations required for illness evaluation, integration of clinical date, planning of subsequent diagnostic measures, and management of therapeutic measures according to established guidelines. As well, she assists with development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care treatment protocols and orthopaedic specialty procedures. Overall, she specializes in general orthopaedic care, fracture management, perioperative education, and functions as part of the operative team as a first assistant to the surgeons of OrthoLA. She also attended Gulf Coast State College Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) program and completed her surgical first assist training focusing on orthopaedic surgery in 2015. Additionally, she is currently focusing on providing orthopaedic interventional treatment via ultrasound guidance procedures.
