Financial Responsibility

It is the responsibility of the patient to pay for medical treatment. Insurance is filed as a courtesy to patients. Payment for patient deductibles, coinsurance and copayment are due at time of service. We accept cash, checks, debit cards, MasterCard, Visa and American Express for your convenience.

This office participates in most health insurance plans. Please ask for information regarding your coverage. As a convenience to our patients, we will file insurance claims to participating plans, primary and supplementary using our computer system. Patients, insurance companies and doctors’ offices can make mistakes and it requires the assistance of all three parties to make the process go smoothly. By having complete and accurate information in advance, we can minimize unnecessary insurance delays and denials by having enough time to validate coverage and eligibility.

Any questions about surgical charges should be directed to the billing staff. Follow your monthly statements (Explanation of Benefits) to keep track of payments by your insurance company. Our billing staff can be reached at 985.492.1200.
